17th Dynamic Contemporary Artists Exhibition
All genres come together
The "Dynamic Contemporary Artists" exhibition is an international exhibition that brings together a diverse range of artists from Japan and abroad. Held at venues such as the National Art Center, Tokyo and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, it provides a platform for creative encounters and exchanges that transcend generations and genres. It is also attracting attention as a venue for discovering new talent, both professional and amateur, and supporting career advancements. It is truly a festival of creativity where you can experience the "current state of contemporary art."
Would you like to exhibit your work? We are accepting submissions in all genres.
Organized by: Spatial Art TORAM
"A place for new endeavors"
TORAM, the spatial art venue, is a creative crossroads where diverse forms of expression intersect. Professionals and amateurs from Japan and abroad gather together to create a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, videos, and installations. For artists, it is a place of challenge and growth, and for visitors, it is an experience of "discovery" where they can encounter new talent. TORAM offers an open space where you can not only "view" art, but also "feel, think, and connect." .

Venue: Fukuoka Asian Art Museum
On Culture Day, November 3, 1964, the Fukuoka Prefectural Cultural Hall, the predecessor of our museum, opened as a complex of art museums and libraries in Susaki Park in Tenjin, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The building was designed by architect Takeo Sato (1899-1972), who was responsible for numerous public buildings at the time.
The museum has held numerous exhibitions, including the "Tutankhamun Exhibition" held the year after it opened, which attracted a record 590,000 visitors, with the queues of people waiting to enter stretching all the way to Susaki Park and circling the fountain several times. The museum has also held independently planned exhibitions based on meticulous research into modern Western paintings, Japanese paintings, sculptures, crafts, and more.
